Docs Site Error Messages

While we hope you don’t run into any, we’ve listed some common error messages that you may encounter to help you out and give you some insight as to why they may be occurring.

For docs site visitors: The page you have visited is no longer available.

Recommended action: Go back to the doc site’s home page (ie. remove everything after workspacedocs.app in the url address bar) to see all docs or contact the doc site’s owner for further details.

For docs site owners: If this is unexpected, please check the following:

  • The subdomain entered is correct and matches the subdomain in your dashboard.
  • The board is set as “active” (and doc if you’re attempting to view a doc).
  • You have authenticated your monday.com account with Workspace Docs. Please open the app in your monday.com account and confirm that no authentication request is pending.

For docs site visitors: All content on the docs site is temporarily unavailable.

Recommended action: Please contact the docs site owner for further information on where to access the doc.

For docs site owners: This error message is likely due to your subscription being overdue or expired. Please open the app in your monday.com account and complete the prompts. For further details, please contact us.


For docs site visitors: An unexpected error occurred when viewing the page you requested.

Recommended action: Please alert the site owner or try again later.

For docs site owners: This error message can occur for a variety of reasons.

  • If it’s a docs page you’re viewing, in certain situations, the docs site is unable to read a specific doc. This can happen for various reasons, so please get in touch so we can identify and resolve the issue.
  • You may have deleted a board without deleting the collection, causing a mismatch between the Workspace Docs and your monday.com account. Simply navigate to a board view or your global settings for Workspace Docs, and click on “Collections Overview”. From there, you will be able to delete any unused collections.

For docs site visitors: The docs site is currently unpublished.

Recommended action: Please contact the docs site owner for further information on where to access the doc.

For docs site owners: Please check your global settings and that your Docs Site is listed as “active”.
